The ATLAS Platform supports IP authorization for individual organizations. Requests that originate from Allowed IPs are processed through an authorization workflow that provides read-only access to the ATLAS Library.

All systems issuing requests to the ATLAS server must be compatible with either TLS 1.2

Troubleshooting

Problem: I am logged in to my proxy service or VPN, and I'm being redirected to login or I see a blank white page

  1. Check the IP address of your device. You can do this by typing "What is my IP address" in to Google. Follow up with your IT staff to ensure your IP Address is included in your organization's list of whitelisted IP Addresses on ATLAS.

  2. If using a proxy service, check with your IT staff to ensure your proxy service supports TLS 1.2. If it does not, your proxy service will not work with ATLAS, and another access method must be used.

  3. If using a proxy service, check with your IT staff to ensure that Option NoX-Forwarded-For is included in your organization's database stanza

Problem: I am logged in to my proxy service or VPN, and I can access the ATLAS Library. But when I try to view a video I get an error that says "Unauthorized Domain"

  1. Take a screenshot of the error, and ensure the screenshot includes the URL in the address bar
  2. Send the screenshot to your IT Staff, and ask your IT Staff to ensure that the proxy host has been added to your organization's list of authorized domains
