An ATLAS case consists of three things:

  1. Classroom video (about 15 minutes)
  2. Teacher written commentary highlighting activities leading up to the lesson, an analysis of what took place, and a reflection on what went well and what might be done differently in the future.
  3. Instructional materials providing the artifacts from the lesson such as student work samples, bibliographies, lesson materials, quizzes, and classroom layout maps.

Several activities can be performed on the case page. You can watch the video, read the written commentary, and review the instructional materials associated with the case. You can also review the framework tags that have been applied to the case, if provided.
